General Pool Rules

SAFETY

  • Only swim when a lifeguard is on duty and always follow lifeguards' instructions.
  • Beginner swimmers must wear a life jacket or stay within arm's reach of an adult.
  • Walk carefully–no diving, running, pushing, or rough play. Repeated rule-breaking may lead do suspension or loss of pool access.

AGES

  • Children 2 and under must wear a swim diaper.
  • Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Must be age 16+ to enter the hot tub.

BE RESPECTFUL

  • Foul or abusive language will not be tolerated.
  • Photography or videography are not permitted.
    Exception: private events and pre-authorized Kroc marketing personnel. 

CLOTHING

  • Changing is permitted only in locker rooms and in family cabanas.
  • Swimsuits can be lycra/Spandex/polyester/nylon. No suits with cotton/wool/silk/denim/linen. Not sure? Ask a lifeguard!

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

  • Water and sports drinks only; no glass or food.

SANITIZATION

  • Please rinse before entering the pools to remove any lotions, makeup, or fragrances. 

Lap Pool Rules

  • Swimmers aged 17 and under must pass a water safety test administered by Aquatics staff before using the lap pool for the first time.
  • Lifeguards may adjust lane sharing based on activities and usage.
  • Diving blocks can only be used with an instructor present.
  • Lane lines may only be adjusted by Aquatics staff.
  • Training/coaching/therapy require prior written permission–please contact the Aquatics Department for details on rentals. 

Training Pool Rules

  • Life jackets must be US Coast Guard (USCG) approved.
  • Toys must be lifeguard-approved and may be removed if misused after a warning.
  • Jumping is only allowed from the bottom two steps.

 

Pool availability is subject to change at the discretion of The Kroc's Aquatics staff to ensure safety.
