The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides new clothing or toys for children of needy families through the support of donors. Found in local companies and corporations, Angel Trees are decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child in need of presents. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags.
Tags are distributed and collecting in December.
If you would like to request or would like to provide assistance during Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday seasons by adopting a family, please contact our volunteer coordinator Jennifer Jackson at 707.439.7884 for details.
The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center is pleased to provide a scholarship program to help provide access to The Kroc Center. Many Americans are familiar with The Salvation Army's thrift stores which fund our well-known drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs. And our iconic red kettles have become a symbol of the Christmas season and the spirit of giving.
But in hundreds of communities across the Western United States, The Salvation Army also operates programs and services which are designed to meet human need in Christ's name, alleviate human suffering, and promote wholeness by addressing the spiritual, social, emotional, psychological and physical well-being of those served.
