Welcome to Church at The Kroc!

In Church at The Kroc, we don't gather to put on a show or impress one another. We strive to be honest about who we are, and our goal is to simply glorify God with our lives; it is the grace of God that motivates us. We hope to point our community to Jesus.

Worship with Us
Church at The Kroc is simply a group of people with a common desire to follow and love Jesus. Being part of The Salvation Army Kroc Center allows us a number of different ways to create community. It doesn't matter who you are or where you find yourself in life, if you want to get closer to Jesus and you want to build Christian community, we would love to have you join us.

You're Invited!
The Salvation Army Kroc Worship Team invites you to join the family. We are vibrant, our welcome is warm and our teaching reflects those of Christ.  Allow us to greet you with a smile this Sunday with classes for the whole family, teaching biblical principles and foundational understanding.

Attend Sunday Service in-person in our Worship Theater, or stream it live on Facebook.

Meet our New Pastors!

Welcome to Majors Matt & Dianne Madsen!

Please join us in welcoming Majors Matt and Dianne Madsen as the pastors of The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Suisun City.

Majors Dianne and Matt Madsen most recently served in San Francisco. Major Matt was the Divisional Secretary for San Francisco where he provided leadership to the Salvation Army Corps and Programs throughout the city. He was instrumental in the creation and implementation of “The Way Out” a recovery system of care for those experiencing homelessness and fighting substance abuse. Major Dianne was the Divisional Secretary for Program for the Golden State Division that served the Corps and Units of Central California with support for social services, corps ministry programs and much more.

Major Dianne – a native of San Diego – has been an officer for 33 years and has seen a variety of expressions of Army service all over the Western US. She loves Jesus, sharing His love with others and having a good time with her family and friends. Her family came to The Salvation Army when her grandmother Ruby, a single mother in the 1940’s, received assistance from The Salvation Army. Once Ruby received assistance, she got involved in the women’s ministries programs offered and then her children got involved with youth programs. The Salvation Army helped changed the trajectory of Major Dianne’s family and as a result, she has a passion to help receive assistance and change their lives with the love of God. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Azusa Pacific University College.

Major Matt comes from a long line of Salvation Army officers. He is a 5th generation Salvationist and his great-grandfather, Colonel Harold Madsen, served in San Francisco in the 1930’s. Major Matt loves music, is an excellent music educator and played jazz trumpet professionally playing with Natalie Cole and many other artists. Additionally, Major Matt is a great communicator who is passionate in sharing God’s love with others. In his 21 years of officership, he has had a variety of experiences and opportunities in working with communities to provide not only for the physical needs of others, but provide for their spiritual needs as well. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and a Masters in Christian Apologetics from Talbot University.

Matt and Dianne are the proud parents of Madeline and Charlie who are currently students at Asbury University in Kentucky. They look forward to being a part of the Kroc family when they are home on breaks from school.

The Madsens are excited to join the ministry team of the Suisun City Kroc Center and provide support throughout Solano County to serve the people of the region with respect, joy and the love of Jesus.

Whether you're visiting for the first time or have been part of The Kroc family for years, we invite you to stop by, say hello, and help us give Majors Matt and Dianne a warm welcome.
